By accessing our website at sharkssecurityservices.co.uk or by entering into a contract for our security services, you confirm that you accept these Terms and Conditions and agree to comply with them.

These terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use our website, as well as to all clients who engage our professional security services.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not use our website:

• In any way that violates applicable local, national or international law or regulation

04Our Security Services

Sharks Security Service & Intelligence Bureau provides professional security services including, but not limited to: manned guarding, CCTV monitoring, mobile patrols, event security, close protection, loss prevention, K9 security, and security guard training.

Service Standards

We commit to providing all services:

• With reasonable care and skill in accordance with industry best practice
• Using only SIA licensed personnel where required by law
• In compliance with all applicable legislation including the Private Security Industry Act 2001
• In accordance with the written Assignment Instructions agreed with each client

Client Obligations

Clients must provide accurate information necessary for us to perform the services, ensure a safe working environment for our personnel, and notify us promptly of any changes affecting the services.

05Quotes & Pricing

All quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on information provided at the time of enquiry and may be subject to change if requirements change.

Prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT will be charged at the prevailing UK rate where applicable.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing for ongoing contracts in line with the National Minimum Wage, National Living Wage, and SIA licence fee changes, giving no less than 30 days written notice.

06Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in a written contract:

• Invoices are due within 30 days of the invoice date
• Late payments will incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998
• We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts more than 14 days overdue
• For training courses, payment in full is required before the course commencement date unless a payment plan has been agreed in writing

07Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Subject to the above:

• We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special or punitive loss or damage
• Our total liability to you in respect of any losses arising under or in connection with our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control (force majeure)

08Intellectual Property

All content on our website including text, graphics, logos, images and software is the property of Sharks Security Service & Intelligence Bureau Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected by UK and international copyright laws.

09Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential all information received from the other party that is reasonably understood to be confidential, and not to disclose such information to any third party without prior written consent, except as required by law.

This obligation continues for a period of three years following the termination of any service agreement.

10Termination

Either party may terminate a service agreement by giving the notice period specified in the written contract (typically 28 days in writing). In the absence of a written contract, either party may terminate with 28 days written notice.

We may terminate or suspend services immediately and without notice if:

• You breach these terms or the terms of any service agreement
• Payment is overdue by more than 30 days
• You become insolvent or enter administration
• We reasonably believe continued service would expose our personnel to unacceptable risk

11Complaints

We take complaints seriously and aim to resolve them promptly. If you are dissatisfied with our services or website:

1. Contact us by email at info@sharkssecurityservices.co.uk with full details of your complaint
2. We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days
3. We aim to resolve all complaints within 14 working days
4. If unresolved, you may refer the matter to the Security Industry Authority or relevant dispute resolution body

12Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
